Back to Alaska. It's not Fiji, but it has a wealth of nature and wildlife for me to photograph as well as a good job for me so I am a happy camper (LOL - literally and figuratively). Speaking of camping, we've had a moose and calf in the neighborhood for a few weeks now. So cute these little ones. We actually hadn't seen them in a while and my wife made a comment about that as we were driving home. Then almost as if on cue they walked around a corner and stopped right in the middle of the road just looking at us! Then they took off onto someone's lawn and disappeared. as luck would have it they were near the house so out came the camera gear. Here are some images I've taken over the past week or two - enjoy : ).

Twig munching

A lot easier to eat grass kneeling then reaching all the way down!

A little perplexed ... lots of places to explore, and new sounds to hear! Like chainsaws from the neighbors cutting downed trees!

Hm, what's this?

Hm, what over there ....

Man, all this walking is exhausting. Maybe I'll just stretch out for one second here in the sun ..... "zzz, zzzzz"

Hey, where'd the sun go? Well a cloudy day is a good day for a nap right? ....."zzzz, zzzzz".

Lets go Mom, I'm all rested, get up, lets go!!
