January 2011 - I did a bike race this weekend, my first one ever. It was great to see so many people out there being active. I think overall there were 170+ participants. It was a frosty and foggy morning leaving much of the town coated in a layer of Hoar Frost. If you've never seen it before , it looks almost like snow on the trees. Except it seems to cling to and line every branch. Upon closer inspection you realize that it is not snow at all. What it is in fact is a tiny forest of ice crystals. It, like the human body is truely a marvel to see. Especially once you explore it more deeply, look at it and get a better understanding that things are not always as they appear from a far.

and down to a single plate.
